A Journey Rooted in Service, Growth, and Purpose​

Born in Tapah, Perak, Sasitharan Narayanan relocated to Klang with his family following his father’s retirement as a Hospital Assistant (HA). Klang has since become the cornerstone of his personal and professional journey—a place that shaped his education, fueled his aspirations, and deepened his lifelong commitment to community service.

His father served as a Hospital Assistant across estates in Bidor, Teluk Intan, and ultimately retired in Tronoh Mines, Air Kuning, Kampar. Throughout his service, he ensured vital medical care provision to estate workers, instilling in his children the values of compassion, humility, and dedication to others. His mother, a devoted homemaker, raised seven children with strength and grace. As the youngest in the family, Sasitharan Narayanan was deeply influenced by these values, growing up with a strong sense of responsibility, work ethic, and empathy.

Sasitharan Narayanan began his professional journey over 33 years ago at the grassroots level in warehousing. Through perseverance, integrity, and an unrelenting drive for excellence, he rose through the ranks to assume a leadership position within a globally recognized automotive company.

His commitment to lifelong learning led him to pursue and complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah at the age of 50—an achievement that reflects his belief in continuous self-improvement and personal growth.

In 2020, he embarked on a new chapter: his journey into charitable work. What began as self-funded community outreach initiatives soon grew into a broader mission to uplift lives. Recognizing the growing need for structured support, he established an NGO dedicated to serving local communities and individuals in need—regardless of race, religion, or gender.

The organization, aptly named Pertubuhan Pengembaraan Jann-Nar (Jann-Nar Journey of Life) , was founded in loving memory of his late parents, Jannu Raman Nair and Narayanan Marar, whose legacy of kindness and service continues to guide his path. Officially registered in February 2025, Jann-Nar has since been actively involved in a wide range of humanitarian efforts, focused on food distribution, medical aid, and care for vulnerable groups within his local community.

Guided by the belief that “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give,” Sasitharan Narayanan remains steadfast in his mission to create meaningful change—one life, one act of kindness at a time.
